A graduate of the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium) with a Master's degree in Psychological Sciences since 2012, I have progressively built a training path guided by a single conviction: to support each person with respect for their history, values, and life journey.
I initially deepened my knowledge in the fields of developmental psychology, specifically in the areas of attachment, parenting, and systemic therapy, convinced that the bonds we forge with others play an essential role in our development and well-being. Relationships between parents and children can be particularly complex, sometimes challenging and emotionally charged. Every parent generally acts with the sincere desire to do their best for their child. However, the strategies implemented, often inherited from their own history and experiences or dictated by the emotions of the moment, are not always the most appropriate for the child's needs or the situation. Understanding these mechanisms helps to overcome feelings of guilt or helplessness and paves the way for more peaceful interactions that respect everyone's needs.
Throughout my experience, I have increasingly focused on clinical psychology, specifically on supporting individuals facing difficult life events, particularly psychological trauma, through the practice of EMDR, as well as providing support in palliative and end-of-life care. I have thus supported people facing diagnoses of serious illnesses, the announcement of a terminal illness, or the grieving process.
In parallel, I have developed experience supporting individuals through the sensitive stages of the perinatal period: fertility treatments, high-risk pregnancies, the emotionally challenging postpartum period, bereavement during pregnancy, and the loss of an infant.
These experiences have reinforced my interest in resilience, the processes of self-reconstruction, and each person's capacity to find a new equilibrium after adversity. They reinforce my conviction that, even in the most painful moments, it is possible to receive compassionate support in order to mobilize one's resources and move forward at one's own pace. These experiences, though different, share a common thread: they confront individuals with profound upheavals that sometimes challenge their bearings, their identity, or their history. They have strengthened my interest in each person's capacity for adaptation and in the processes that gradually allow one to rediscover a sense of continuity, meaning, and peace. It is from this perspective that I approach my work: to offer a space where trials can be shared, understood, and navigated, at each person's own pace.
I then completed a four-year program in Brief Systemic and Strategic Therapy at the Virages Center in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. This approach enriches my practice today, enabling me to support individuals toward lasting changes tailored to their reality and goals.
My practice is enriched by a diverse background, both in private practice and in hospital settings. I integrate the tools of brief systemic and strategic therapy, EMDR for trauma support, as well as my experience working with individuals facing bereavement, palliative care, perinatal challenges, and major life transitions.
The goal is to help you regain lasting balance, mobilize your resources, and move forward with greater peace of mind. Because life's trials can also become opportunities for transformation, I support you in rebuilding yourself, respecting your history and what makes you unique.
"Brief strategic therapy is like a game of chess; it doesn't try to replay the entire game from the beginning. It observes the current position and identifies the move that changes the dynamics of the game."
